Align Successfully Delivers IT Infrastructure Optimization Projects

Align is pleased to announce that it has recently completed a number of infrastructure optimization projects for its growing customer base – helping them successfully address technology change due
to relocations, upgrades, mergers or consolidations.

“In the past six months, we have delivered real value to our customers by helping them adopt new and more efficient IT solutions,” says James Dooling, President and CEO of Align. “From improving operational efficiencies to reducing IT costs – the timely implementation of these initiatives has enabled our clients to do more with less.”

Some highlights include:

  • Consolidated a global financial services firm’s five US data centers into two facilities and managed the move and migration of 20,000 servers and other technology assets.
  • Transitioned 100 traders from an existing corporate IT infrastructure onto their new hosted, private-cloud environment – while successfully addressing their legal and compliance requirements.
  • Designed and built a managed services business model for a major financial institution that enabled a substantial cost reduction of 60% – resulting in $36 million in savings over the life of a three-year contract.
  • Led the relocation of 500 traders and 600 support staff along with significant technology upgrades for a Chicago-based energy trader.

Align believes providing visibility into IT infrastructure – from the application layer through the physical asset – is critical in helping customers make smart, proactive decisions.
